Later that year, Patridge competed on the eleventh season of the American version of Dancing with the Stars, and finished in seventh place.
In 2011, she was commissioned her own television series, Audrina, which documented the lives of her and her immediate family.
She has been in 16 celebrity relationships averaging less than one year each.
Currently expecting her first child, Patridge is revealing just how much producers of her MTV reality show manipulated things behind the scenes.
She told Us Weekly that her dating Spencer Pratt was completely staged."Yeah, it was really weird for everyone and then it just wasn't genuine," Patridge said. ' It really was hard with my real life and then my TV life."The show went off the air in 2010 and since then the cast members have gone on to settle down and start families, including Patridge who is expecting with fiance, professional BMX dirt bike rider Corey Bohan."I think if social media was a thing, The Hills would never be what it was," she told the publication.
With several splits sprinkled throughout their longterm relationship, the couple appeared to be going strong since their last breakup took place in March 2011.
"We've been off and on for almost five years," Patridge, 29, told Us last July, "but we've been solid." The brunette gushed to Us at the same event that the Australian BMXer was the love of her life and the two had "talked about" getting married.
