David Bromstad, the host of HGTV's Color Splash, wants everyone to know their HIV status.To elevate public awareness about the importance of regular testing, the celebrity designer is teaming up with Janssen Therapeutics to promote the 'Know Yourself: Get HIV Tested' initiative. I'm just honored to get to be in the presence of someone like Vern Yip.
She is also a talented interior designer and lives with her daughter in Manhattan.The HGTV veteran sat down with AOL for an exclusive interview at our New York headquarters to talk about the show, taking inspiration from other stars on his network and what he would've done had he won that infamous Powerball jackpot. Since you have been picked up for 13 more episodes, do you think your show will be a regular on HGTV for a few seasons? We've already shot the 13 episodes and just got picked up for another two seasons! When he was on , I only watched when he was one of the designers. His design esthetic and graphic style are both so similar to mine that I really love watching him work.
